She loves to learn more about them, discover new Pokémon, and even participate in battles. Her love for Pokémon was probably the reason why she was appointed to be a research assistant. ⌋

Her aesthetic specifically are beach related things. She loves collecting seashells and arranging them by the sea shore. She would always admit that she’s just a terrible person. Her low self-esteem makes it easy to convince her that she’s an awful person. ⌋

Her adoptive mother In New Bark Town, found her laying near a lake during a huge storm, but that’s all that is known about her past. According to Churippu, her Starmie and Lanturn used to know her, but she claims to not remember them. Those two don’t want to say anything to Churippu, so Cyndi’s past remains an enigma. ⌋

⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⌈ For some reason, Cyndi doesn’t like fancy things. She just doesn’t see the point in luxuries. Things like servants, elorabrate clothing, ‘fancy food’, etc. she’d much prefer keeping things simple and doing things on her own. ⌋

⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⌈ Cyndi’s health is definitely not the greatest. She can get sick very easily, in fact, it’s what she’s known for. It’s clear that she has an illness, however it doesn’t really have a name. Her illness can make her feel sluggish and give her headaches at any given moment. It also seems to damage her lungs, since she will occasionally cough uncontrollably at random times. The illness also causes muscle weakness, so she is not able to lift any heavy objects and do any exercises. She can’t even walk for long periods of time without getting tired. She is not taking any medications for her illness and even refuses to go to the doctor. Since she only has her Pokémon, there really isn’t anyone that’s really pushing her to go to the doctor. She simply just takes a rest and claims that she’s all better. ⌋

⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⌈ Cyndi seems to be suffering from depression and anxiety. It’s very easy for her to be depressed since even small things can upset her. Her anxiety stems from the fear of being rejected. She doesn’t want anyone to dislike her any reason. She always allows herself to be stepped on simply because she just doesn’t want to further upset whoever she bothered. She also doesn’t like it when things are all about her. Her insecurity and low self esteem makes her hate herself, so when someone tells her that she’s an awful person, she’ll easily believe that’s the truth. ⌋

The two of them quickly became close and Cyndi even thinks as him as a friend. He’s the polar opposite of what she embodies. She’s very soft, while he’s pretty hardcore. She’s weak, while he’s very strong. Despite the differences, they get along very well. ⌋

⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⌈ Professor Elm is Cyndi’s neighbor in New Bark Town. She would often help him out by doing chores and doing small tasks for any of his research projects. She only did these things, mainly to keep herself busy, but she does respect the professor for his intellect. Eventually, she began liking Elm as a mentor figure and would regularly be his research assistant. Her diligence was the reason why he trusted her to raise Churippu. ⌋
